Grew up as a village child in Friesland, learned hotel management and spent my wild years in Hamburg.
Mastered every department in the hotel from F&B to revenue, business development and operations manager.
When I started a family, I switched to a hotel agency.
Emigrated to Malta with my family in 2022.
With 25 years of professional experience in the hotel industry,
I am happy every day that I chose my dream job back then.
What do your friends say about you?
loves to plan everything (after Christmas comes Easter), honest, loud and finds an answer to every problem.
Favorite travel destination/hotel?
No matter where, as long as it’s on the water! Desired destination: sailing to the South Pacific in my own sailing boat.

Slippers and a comfortable chair to work on
What would you be if you weren't a hotel specialist?
skipper or hotel manager
Which of your events so far has been the most special for you?
My very first booking as a hotel specialist was for the Gamescom trade fair and I will never forget that feeling of pride and fear.
What do your customers say about you?
I am outstanding, reliable, fast and friendly. The greatest praise from my customers, however, is the recommendation to other companies.
Where can we find you in your free time?
I spend the weekends with my husband and my two children on the soccer field, in the harbor or on the water.

My husband 😉
What do you particularly like about your colleague Katharina?
Katharina is very lovable. She is persistent, present and a bit chaotic. We first worked together in 2007, so we have known each other longer than our husbands.
What do you like most about your job?
Every project is different. Because my clients come from different industries and have different budgets, I am well connected in all segments and am just as happy to book a luxury hotel as a traditional inn.
