What do your friends say about you?
My best friend says in a nutshell: „If you haven’t had a good laugh today, you should spend a few minutes talking to Eileen. But you have to earn her open nature and her laughter. Once the bond is formed, great conversations and maybe even a little glitter await you.
Favorite travel destination/hotel?
My most beautiful and longest travel destination was Australia – you can easily spend a year here. The travel destination with the most unusual impressions and experiences was definitely Vietnam.
My favorite travel destination in Europe is France, especially Provence.
What should not be missing in a hotel room for you?
A comfortable bed with a large mattress. Fast, working WiFi. Practical sockets or charging stations. Travel toothbrush! That’s the thing I forget most often when I travel.
What would you be if you weren't a hotel specialist?
Owner of a manor house with a barn and rooms to rent for events and groups.
Which of your events so far has been the most special for you?
In 2016, the BDEW Congress with 1,600 participants took place for the first time in an off-location in STATION-Berlin and I was able to manage the project from start to finish. In the years that followed, I also enjoyed working as a freelancer in the organization team. A few years ago, I organized a planner convention on the Colorline for 200 guests with an exhibition on land.
What do your customers say about you?
Among other things, „For you there are no problems, only solutions! In addition to a cool head and open ears, at your side you always feel noticed and like a valued partner!“, „Thank you for the professional and good-humored support over the past years.
Where can we find you in your free time?
In the summer, outside in the sun, by the lake or in the garden. Mostly with my child – playing football, jumping on the trampoline or at the table tennis table. I like to browse through eBay classifieds in search of old but special pieces of furniture. I love giving them a new touch. With friends. Traveling.
Who would you like to be for a day?
Pippi Longstocking „I make the world the way I like it…“
What do you particularly like about your colleague Nina K.?
Nina – my colleague with the charming smile, a pleasant, obliging manner and a good conversationalist. If you need advice and support, she is the right person to ask.
What do you like most about your job?
The people you meet – customers, hotel partners, location operators. The exchange. Discovering new destinations and hotels. The wow effects you experience. The freedom to do what you love and what you enjoy.
